The Producer/Director

Sara Gibbings has a decade of experience in international production. With a background in journalism (The Sunday Tribune, The Sunday Times Ireland Edition) she spent a couple of years doing commercials (Volkswagen, Carlsberg, Cadburys, Guinness, Aer Lingus) and music videos (U2) at Windmill Lane Pictures and Toytown Film in Dublin. In 2000 Sara moved to Barcelona and spent the next four years as Channel Producer for 3 film channels at Media Park where she produced the documentary series Once Upon a Time in Europe (13 x 30’) with Sir Christopher Lee, the documentary features Sergio Leone. Cinema. Cinema and The Good, the Bomb and the Ugly. In addition, she produced Telecine, Spain’s first daily arts news programme as well as the highly successful Cinema Composers series (30 x 15’). In May 2002 she produced the launch of a new TV channel, Star, which has since been bought by MGM. She is a regular contributor to the newspaper Catalonia Today. Sara started Padi Productions in 2004.

The Director of Photography

Australian born Director of Photography, Craig Hastings, began his career in news in Cairns. As a lighting cameraman he has travelled the world with programmes such as Tomorrow’s World (BBC1), Secrets of Egypt (Discovery), I’m a Celebrity get me Outta Here (ITV), Hackers (TLC Discovery) and Body Talk (Channel 4). In 2002 he became a director of photography, working on From here to Modernity (BBC2) before going on to do the BAFTA-nominated documentary about free-runners, Jump London (Channel 4). Craig’s body of work includes, The Real little Britain (BBC1), Jump UK (Channel 4) and Sharks on Trial (ITV, Discovery Channel) and the television commercial Parkour Meeting for Roger’s Wireless mobile phones, Canada. Craig joined Padi Productions at the start of 2006.
